Political participation In accordance with UN SC Resolution 1325, 1540 and   2250

  • Promoting and supporting women’s active participation in political processes
  • Developing mechanisms and making opportunities available for women to participate in the reconstruction efforts
  • Advocating for the appointment of more women to ministerial portfolios in line with their experience and qualifications

Security

  • Maintaining a safe and securing environment that will promote women’s participation in social and political activities
  • Ensuring that women are included in an effective disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) process
